Varsity is our annual sports competition against Brighton University, with lots of our sports teams battling it out to decide which university will be crowned Varsity winners.
Key info for players and spectators
All fixtures are no-alcohol events
All spectators and players will be bag searched upon entry to the site
(For University of Brighton events) Only handbags, purses and cross body bags smaller than A5 will be allowed to indoor events, once a bag search had been completed. All other bags will not be permitted.
You must be a Sussex or Brighton student to attend
Spectators will be required to bring proof of ticket purchase and photo ID to gain access to the site
Players will be required to bring photo university ID
Security and event staff reserve the right to refuse entry to any spectators or players who break any of the rules stated above or that appear on the Varsity Code of Conduct
