Get ready for the biggest sound meet Mandela Hall has seen in a decade. A staple of the 1990s Brighton dub scene, we are bringing this venue back to life with Roots Garden Soundsystem and Magenta HiFi.

Come through for a night of conscious and uplifting music in memory of the Legendary Jah Shaka, who played Mandela Hall in the 1990s.

Dubwise since 1995, Roots Garden is Brighton's Roots Reggae Champion. Whether it be through their Sound System, Radio Show or Record Label, Roots Garden has been bringing conscious, uplifting music to Brighton and the world for decades. Championed by Jon Jones with the backing of MC Dee and special guest musicians from the Roots Garden Label, you do not want to miss this Veteran Sound.

Magenta HiFi is an up-and-coming Sound System who has been supporting Brighton's social justice communities and underground scene for over 3 years. The Magenta Crew will be joined by Selecta Ras Pacho, with the support of Akin Soul on vocals, Pax on live melodica and bass guitar and other guest musicians. Come and show your support for this Homegrown Heavyweight System!
