☸️ As the seasons begin their cycle of rebirth, take the time to immerse yourself in nature, culture and community.
🌱 We will celebrate the start of Spring with a day of workshops, music and food, all round a big central fire and in a hand-built traditional Yurt on site. We will be surrounded by Indigenous Afro-Colombian art and sculptures from the Plots Director - Rafael Berrio. It is set to be a magical day to bring community together! Entry is through a donation of any size and make sure to get a ticket online to guarantee yourself a plate of food!
🌸 The day will be centred on the themes of 'Rhythms, Cycles and Rebirth'. As we move into this new year, understanding how traditions on this land navigated and interpreted the seasons holds lots of answers for how to keep our lives in balance with the rhythms and cycles that exist all around us.
🌲 Nestled in the stunning Stanmer Park woodland, Future Roots is a plot of Stanmer Organics, a charity focused on holistic wellbeing, eco-education and nature connection.
Tickets
🎟️ Entry is through a donation to Future Roots so it can continue to grow as a hub for empowering events, holistic education and ecological consciousness. Holistic Community Events must always be as financially accessible as possible, so a donation of any size will be gratefully accepted and no-one will be turned away. Children enter for free! 🌿
Accessibility
We are working to improve the physical accessibility of the Future Roots site though given its setting it could be challenging for those with accessibility needs. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
❄️It is likely to be a cold day at Future Roots so please dress warmly and bring blankets for sitting down with. A big fire will be going and we will have hot food and drinks available. In the case of wet weather, we will move the programme under our covered area and Yurt.
