Kick off Freshers' 2026 in style at Falmer Bar with an epic multi-room move-in party! This year our theme is RODEO COWBOYS VS SPACE ALIENS, fancy dress is heavily encouraged! 

We're teaming up with PRYZM to bring you the best DJs on an outdoor stage, plus plenty of activities! Expect inflatables, games, prizes, and even a Rodeo Bull! 🎉 

Bring your new housemates and friends to enjoy great drinks deals and even better music as we celebrate your first big night on campus.

Please note, ticket refunds will only be accepted 72 hours before the event. Anyone arriving in offensive fancy dress will be refused entry at the door.

You must provide valid ID to attend this event and prove you are over 18. Please see the full list of all forms of ID that the Students' Union accepts, in line with our alcohol license:

  • University of Sussex Student ID Card
  • Passports
  • Drivers License (UK and EU only) 
  • ID's bearing the Portman Pass logo 
  • National Identification Cards (EU only)

Please note the SU cannot accept any images, digital versions or photocopies of your ID, we require the physical copy.
